Pumpkin Trilogy " large pumpkin"

 A beautiful trilogy of pumpkins makes for a delightful centerpiece.

Each class is for a different size pumpkin, In this class you will make only the large pumpkin. The next 2 classes will be for the medium and small pumpkin. you can choose to do 1 , 2 or all three pumpkins.

You will be cutting your glass, copper foiling with a very special decorative copper foil  and construct the pumpkin in 3 dimensions before adding a leaf and some wirework.

Remember to bring a dish cloth to dry your pieces. 

 This is a long class so be prepared to have something to drink and a snack with you (if you wish).

For safety reasons, please make sure that you have closed shoes and your long hair tied-back.

Get crafty this fall at The MAC! Come check out our october cup special in the hot shop and work with our Glass artist to make a pumpkin inspired mug for this fall season.

In this session:

• Create your own drinking glass with your choice of up to two colors
• Receive direction from trained professional Neal Richmond
• Utilize traditional tools and techniques to realize an object you can use
• Retrieve your creation after 48 hours to allow for annealing.

Classes run from 1pm to 7pm. Each piece takes approximately 20 minutes to complete. Please wear appropriate clothing (closed toed shoes, natural fibers if possible, and no excessively loose clothing)

Jellyfish Pen and Ink.

Pick your style and your color ,learn to sketch your jellyfish. This 11 x 14 artwork is suitable for framing. Done with alcohol markers and fine line pens, you can add your own whimsy to reflect your personality.

Make every piece is as individual as you are.Your instructor, Anita Major, will guide you through each step with patience and encouragement—no art experience needed!

You’ll leave with a beautiful, frame-worthy piece you’ll be proud to say you made yourself.

In this class, students will learn the stained glass process step by step while bringing this sweet woodland design to life.
