These classes are offered as a way to have fun and adventure into art after school has let out for the day! At each session there will be multiple examples avalible for the students to choose from, though there will be some kind of theme each week that the examples will relate to.  This can be as simple as "pinch pots" where the items shown are all pinch pots, or it could be like a "dish" which could be from a slab, made using pinch pot methods or other methods! 

The goal of these classes is to introduce different techniques for Hand-building in ceramics or to better skills a student may already have. In addition to this to have fun with the medium of clay, using new and different tools to explore all it has to offer.

Very fashionable these days, this project will allow you to hang an air plant and enjoy it in or near your window. you may also hook it on a stand and sit it anywhere you want. A very easy project for all with a choice of color at the studio.

Enjoy the art of Stained Glass; cutting, grinding, copper foiling, and soldering are all part of the process. 

 Bring a dish cloth to dry your project.

Maximum 10 participants per class.

Ages: 10+ (under 16 with parental approval and supervision)

Book your session this weekend to experience Hot Glass at The MAC! Work with experienced Glassworker Neal Richmond to create a beautiful Glass Bunny.

In this session:

• Create a Glass bunny sculpture (using up to 2 colors)
• Experience sculpting solid molten glass with traditional tools and techniques
• Recieve private instruction from expert Glassworker Neal Richmond
• Pick up your sculpture after 48 hours to allow for cooling and grinding if needed

Classes run Fridays, Saturdays, Sundays from 4 pm to 7 pm each session is booked on an individual basis. Each class last approximately 40 mn. please wear apropriate clothing (closed toed shoes, natural fibers if possible, no excessively loose clothing)

 Beginner stained glass " baby plant Collection"

A beginner project today, but a baby plant for a life time.

Spend a evening choosing your plant, your glass. learn to cut your glass, copper foil it, solder it and decorate your baby plant! you will quikly see how cute these babies are ....

pros .... you never need to water them

             and they will last a life time.

cons.....they will never grow up !

Stained glass classes are long classes so make sure you to take a snack and a drink with you.Closed toe shoes and securely attached hair is a must.

Pens & Ink with Anita

Age :13 and up

Unleash your creativity with Pens & Ink!

Come draw the funky chicken with your instructor, Anita Major. Friendly for all skill levels, this project uses alcohol ink markers to create this fun wacky bird. You can choose your own colors.

Learn from skilled artist Anita, your instructor, who will guide you through the basics of lines, texture and shading.

All materials are provided, just bring your enthusiasm! We supply all pens, inks and paper you need. Enjoy learning in a relaxed atmosphere where every stroke of your pen brings you closer to mastering this art form.

Stained Glass Spring bees

April: 09,16,-2025 

5 to 8 pm 

 Age: 16 and up 

Although created to accompany the sunflower Spinner, these little bees can easily be put in a pot as a planter! We will be using a deep yellow glass as well as a iridescent black. we will finish with a little wire work for antennas and feet.

During the class you can make up to 3 bees and use them with the spinner or stand alone as a planter. 

Remember to bring a dish cloth to dry your pieces. 

 This is a long class so be prepared to have something to drink and a snack with you (if you wish). For safety reasons, please make sure that you have closed shoes and your long hair tied-back.

Nature Stained Glass Creations  " birds extravaganza"

 let's continue our bird collection with yet another easy and fun class for beginners as well a for experienced artists.

Make a bird to hang in your window or one that is stand alone on the shelf. you will have the choice amongst different bird patterns and we will have several class so you can built your personal collection.
