This year, Valentines just so happens to be on a Saturday creating a 'Friday the 13th' right before Valentines day, so in spirit of this let us make some spooky themed candygram/cookies.  In this class students can make as many cookies as their heart desires... as long as each cookie can get the attention it requires, being proper smoothed and getting a least a splash of color.  Undergalze will be used during this class to allow the application of color to take place on the same day as creation! Students may choose where to have their cookies remain "dull" creating a realistic shortbread look, or to have a clear glaze applied creating a smooth glossy surface on the face of the cookies.

It has been asked "What is a candygram?" Traditionally a candygram is a sweet or confectionary sent to another person with a small message for the recipient traditionally on Valentine's day, though they can be sent at other holidays or times.  These sweets are generally anonymous but can incude the senders name if wanted.

This project will be ready for pickup 1-2 weeks from the date of the class.

In this class students will be able to create up to four birds, intended to be made in pairs of two this would create a pair to keep and a pair to give.  They can be glazed to look like any kind of bird, please come to class with an idea of what kind of bird, as it may change the bodyshape or features of the bird you create! These birds can be as complex or as simple as the artist would like, each bird may be made individually or attached in a pair depending on the artist's wishes.

The Glaze date for this class is Feburary 21st, if this date does not work for you please reach out to the email listed below. This project will be ready for pickup 1-2 weeks from the Glazing session of the class.
