Clay Studio  Family Experience: Wheel & Handbuilding

Did you always wanted to try pottery but never had  the time nor wanted to   take a 6 weeks Class? then this workshop is for you.

Discover the joy of working with clay in this hands-on, beginner-friendly class designed for all skill levels. Whether you’ve never touched a pottery wheel or you’re ready to build on your skills, this experience makes clay approachable, creative, and fun from the very first moment.

Watch live demonstrations on the pottery wheel, then jump right in—using pre-centered clay so you can skip the tricky setup and focus on shaping your own pieces. You’ll explore both wheel throwing and handbuilding techniques, including slab construction and pinch pots, giving you a well-rounded introduction to the art of ceramics.

Create a collection of unique, functional pieces such as bowls, cups, spoon rests, and more—your imagination is the only limit. Most students complete at least 2–3 wheel-thrown pieces, with opportunities to make even more as time allows.

To finish, you’ll choose your favorite glaze colors, and our staff will carefully fire and glaze your work. Your finished creations will be ready for pickup in about 2–3 weeks—beautiful, functional pieces you’ll be proud to use or gift.
