Stained Glass: Honeycomb vase

August 30 and 31

1 to 7 pm 

Age: 16 and up 

Bees are great builders, the iconic exagonal comb can be seen in works and architetural design and art throughout the humain history.

Our 3D stained glass creation takes inspiration from the honeycomb creating a vessel of 4 inch by 4 inch wide by 8 inch tall, all in exquisite honey tones glass.

Entirely made of copper foil you will be working on your precision glass cutting .

this class is a 2 part class to give you the flexibility to make just the vase and/or register to make the Frank lloyd Wright bouquet as well.

Remember to bring a dish cloth to dry your pieces. 

 This is a long class so be prepared to have something to drink and a snack with you (if you wish). For safety reasons, please make sure that you have closed shoes and your long hair tied-back.
