Afternoon Stained Glass for Beginners :

Skill Level:No experience required

Especially designed for beginners this project is fast and fun. 

In this copper foil stained glass class, students will create a beautiful butterfly from colorful glass of your choice using the traditional copper foil method.

Working with a pattern, you’ll learn to cut pieces grind, foil, solder, and clean your glass to form the butterfly delicate wings, and antennae.

Once complete, the finished piece can be mounted on a stake for planting in a pot as a whimsical garden ornament, or finished with a hanging loop to become a sparkling suncatcher that catches the light indoors or out.

The class covers glass cutting basics (score, break, and shape), grinding edges, foiling, soldering, and adding a hanging ring or a stake.  

Bring your own drink or two, drink and a snack with you (if you wish). For safety reasons, please make sure that you have closed shoes and your long hair tied-back. please bring a kitchen towel to dry your pieces.

Stained Glass cardinal

Bring a touch of color to the season by creating your own stained glass cardinal! In this hands-on class, you’ll use the traditional copper foil method to cut, shape, foil, and solder glass into a beautiful cardinal design inspired by Ohio’s beloved state bird. You’ll also learn how to work with wire to add decorative details and enhance the finished bird, giving your piece extra character and dimension. With its vibrant red glass and timeless charm, your cardinal will make a lovely addition to your home or a thoughtful handmade gift.

This is a long class so be prepared to have something to drink and a snack with you (if you wish).

Indoor Outdoor Spinner 3D stained glass.

Beginners welcome!

 Join us for a fun and welcoming beginner stained glass class where you’ll create your own beautiful 3D stained glass spinner! 

 You’ll be guided step by step through the copper foil process, including cutting, grinding, foiling, and soldering your glass pieces together to create a dimensional design that looks beautiful from every angle.

Using a striking combination of blue and purple glass, your finished spinner will catch the light as it turns, highlighting its color, shape, and movement.

Come learn something new, explore the exciting world of 3D stained glass, and leave with a handmade piece you’ll be proud to display!

Create a beautiful stained glass candle holder inspired by the timeless geometric style of Frank Lloyd Wright.

In this class, students will work with carefully selected glass pieces to create a striking architectural design featuring clean lines, bold shapes, and elegant symmetry. You’ll learn the techniques needed to assemble your piece and transform it into a functional candle holder that glows beautifully when lit.

The finished project makes a stunning accent for your home and a unique piece of handcrafted art to enjoy for years to come.

 Meet Marilynn, an adorable little sitting Highland cow full of charm and personality! In this stained glass class, students will create their own sweet Highland cow while learning the copper foil method.

Marilynn’s expressive eyes will be fused ahead of time to give her an extra-special finished look.

Once complete, your Highland cow can be made to hang or displayed on a base, making her a perfect little piece to enjoy year-round.

 A beautiful trilogy of pumpkins makes for a delightful centerpiece.

Each class is for a different size pumpkin, In this class you will make only the large pumpkin. The next 2 classes will be for the medium and small pumpkin. you can choose to do 1 , 2 or all three pumpkins.

You will be cutting your glass, copper foiling with a very special decorative copper foil  and construct the pumpkin in 3 dimensions before adding a leaf and some wirework.

Remember to bring a dish cloth to dry your pieces. 

 This is a long class so be prepared to have something to drink and a snack with you (if you wish).
