Stained Glass owl

January  29 and 30

Instructor: Pia Douglas 

5 to 8 pm

Ages: 16 + to adult

This cute little owl is very inquisitive as to where you are going to put her in your home. she is a bit of a night owl but would like to see you as much as you will like to see her!

A beginner friendly project, you will cut the glass, grind it and copper foil  it followed by soldering.the construction is a little different than a normal piece as it will be a semi 3 D piece. Register and i will show you !

This is a long class so be prepared to have something to drink and a snack with you (if you wish). For safety reasons, please make sure that you have closed shoes and your long hair tied-back.

Nature Stained Glass Creations  "  The Cardinal"

 January  Thursday 15 and Friday16

Ages: 16 + to adult

By popular demand we are adding another class for the cardinal bird! 

 We are often asked to make the bird "Cardinal" out of stained glass so whether you want a sitting cardinal on the branch or a stand alone cardinal  you now have the opportunity to make one and proudly look at it every day!

This is a beginner class, you have the talent,  let's make it !

  Enjoy the art of Stained Glass; cutting, grinding, copper foiling, and soldering are all part of the process. You will without a doubt realize a very special piece of stained glass with YOU as the artist.

Stained glass Pet Portraits

Instructor: Pia Douglas

Age: 18 plus 

8 dates for this project.

Every class will run from 1 to 7 pm 

Please send the picture and the name of your favorite animal as soon as possible as it takes me 4 hours minium to work on the picture. give me the name of your pet so I have a reference.

Make sure that the animal is well lit and that you can clearly see the eyes 

You will be making the portrait of one of your favorite animal (Dog, cat, horse, snake, rabbit ) during this 8 days class. Each portrait will be between 15 and 18 inches square.

You need to have a couple of beginner classes prior to this class.

You have the choice to make the portrait as a suncatcher such as the dog in the picture in the header or frame it with glass zinc and bevels as in the picture of the cat. there will be an additional $75 for a framed portrait added at check out.

Stained Glass Terrarium 

February 14-21-28  

Instructor: Pia Douglas 

Ages: 16 + to adult

 If you can't plant outside then le'ts try to bring our little garden indoors!

This is an advance class for students who know how to cut glass precisely.

you will learn how to work with a dodecahydron shape in order to create this terrarium. An opening will be made so you can put gravel and a plant inside.

The terrarium will be made out of clear glass.
