The Mansfield Art Center

Time: 5pm - 7pm

Ages: Teens and Adults alike!

In this class students will take portions of clay to create multiple pinch pots, every mushroom is different from tall with a wide rounded cap to small with a thin pointed cap.  The stems can be smooth or textured, same with the caps! 

 The only restrictions on the number of mushrooms a student can create is time, and the starting Clay amount of 2lbs.  This amount of clay can make multiple larger mushrooms, and students are likely to run out of time before they run out of clay.

 These pieces will be glazed AFTER a firing, in this case they go from being "greenware" before firing to "bisqueware" firing. October 25th is the Glaze date for this class! If this second date does not work for the student please email me at megan@mansfieldartcenter.org  and another date can be worked out.
