This weekend at The Mansfield Art Center join in the fun for fall glass pumpkins  at the MAC. work with glass artist Neal Richmond to craft your very own pumpkin from glass. Don't miss out on this fun fall classic!

In this session:

• Create your own glass pumpkin with your choice of up to two colors 
• Receive direction from trained professional Neal Richmond
• Utilize traditional tools and techniques 
• Retrieve your creation after 48 hours to allow for annealing.

Classes run from 1pm to 7pm. Each piece takes approximately 20 minutes to complete. Please wear appropriate clothing (closed toed shoes, natural fibers if possible, and no excessively loose clothing)

Beginner Stained Glass: Frank Lloyd Wright Bouquet

September 20 and 21

1 to 7 pm 

Age: 16 and up 

Second Part of our honeycomb creation we are creating the Frank Lloyd Wright Bouquet in the same glass. you will be able to create each flower as you see fit for the composition using geometric shapes. the flowers will be decorated with glass bead and wireworks.

Remember to bring a dish cloth to dry your pieces. 

 This is a long class so be prepared to have something to drink and a snack with you (if you wish). For safety reasons, please make sure that you have closed shoes and your long hair tied-back.

Leslie Kamenik, your instructor, has a passion for children and knitting. put it all together with her teaching skills combined with her unsurpassed patience and you have a super fun class where children can express themselves and relate to things they love.

These cute cacti aren’t pokey. We will be making a Barrel Cactus and if time allows we will make a Saguaro Cactus. They would look great on your window sill or your dresser! Come knit a cactus for yourself or someone else.

Pens & Ink with Anita 

Fall Botanical

Unleash your creativity with Pens & Ink!

 Learn to use alcohol markers and fine liners to draw this whimsical fall botanical. Your instructor, Anita Major, will walk you through each step to completing a piece you will enjoy all through the Fall.

Learn from skilled artist Anita, your instructor, who will guide you through the basics of lines, texture and shading.

All materials are provided, just bring your enthusiasm! We supply all pens, inks and paper you need. Enjoy learning in a relaxed atmosphere where every stroke of your pen brings you closer to mastering this art form.
