EW-08-17 Custom 3D printed Building

Ages: 11-17 (teens)
In the MAC's state of the art 3D printing studio, you will learn the basics of 3D printing from the digital design stage to a finished 3D print. You will get hands-on experience with design software and our 3D printers.
Participants will design and create a Simple Building by designing multiple pieces that can be stacked together to make a building in a Digital design program. Then learn the basics of the 3d printing, and get your designs ready to print
Instructors Nick Christus and Gus Phillips will guide you through the entire process of going from an Idea to a digital model to a finished 3D print.

Notice: Due to printing time, the projects from this workshop will not be available at the end of the class, finished prints will be available for pick-up within a week of the workshop.
EW-08-24 Custom 3D printed Catapult
with Gus Phillips

Ages: 11-17 (teens)
In the MAC's state of the art 3D printing studio, you will learn the basics of 3D printing from the digital design stage to a finished 3D print. You will get hands-on experience with design software and our 3D printers.
Participants will design and create a small Catapult, that after some assembly will actually launch small projectiles in a Digital design program. Then learn the basics of the 3d printing, and get your designs ready to print.
Instructors Nick Christus and Gus Phillips will guide you through the entire process of going from an Idea to a digital model to a finished 3D print.

EW-08-31 Custom 3D printed Fandom Statue
with Nick Christus

Ages: 11-17 (teens)
In the MAC's state of the art 3D printing studio, you will learn the basics of 3D printing from the digital design stage to a finished 3D print. You will get hands-on experience with design software and our 3D printers.
Participants will design and create a Statue from your favorite Movie, Show or Book, we will customize the Statue in a Digital design program. Then learn the basics of the 3d printing, and get your designs ready to print
