Altered Images – Photo Collage Workshop

Instructor: Leslie Norman

Saturday, October 5,12  | 2-4 PM

$40.50Members | $45 Non-Members

Ages: 10+

In this class students will learn various collage and image alteration techniques. These might include weaving images, addition of text, painting, and hand sewing. The ‘altered image’ concept is photo centered collage that uses imagery and storytelling.

We will work with a variety of materials like vintage found photos, cabinet cards, 35mm slides, magazines, craft supplies, etc. Students are encouraged to bring materials from home as well! If you have original family photos – I highly recommend you make duplicate prints for class.

These are fun as original smallworks art, can be turned into cards and framed as gifts for the upcoming holiday season. Materials are provided however students are encouraged to bring personal items to work with if they are able.

Open to teens and adults.
